John Kevin Rose

John Kevin Rose, born on July 21, 1961, in Crossnore, North Carolina, entered eternal rest on June 6, 2025. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, and grandfather who exemplified a life of hard work and dedication.

Known as a hard-working man, John’s commitment to his family was matched only by his love for the great outdoors. He cherished the simple joys of life—camping under the stars, fishing in serene waters, working on older cars and spending relaxing days at the beach. Above all, it was his grandchildren who brought him immense joy and fulfillment; they were truly his world.

John leaves behind his beloved wife of 40 years, Louise Swafford Rose, and their daughter, Joni Rose. He also is survived by his siblings, Tammy Flowers (Brian), Richie Rose, and Kenny Rose (Allan). His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Abigail Hughes and Skyler Ellington, who will carry forward the love and values he instilled in them.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Cleatis Rose and Elizabeth Vance Rose.

The community is invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 PM, both taking place at Beam Funeral Service & Crematory, located at 2170 Rutherford Rd, Marion, NC 28752.

His spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
