John "Rick" Robert Rickman, Jr.

John “Rick” Robert Rickman, Jr., 68, of Old Fort, North Carolina, passed away Sunday evening, July 03, 2022 at his residence with his loving family at his side.

He was born on March 06, 1954 to the late John Robert Rickman, Sr. and Florrie Elizabeth Melton Rickman.

Rick worked for 48 years at Ethan Allen in various capacities. He loved to hunt and fish, and he also enjoyed cutting wood.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Bonnie Gail Bartlett Rickman; his daughter, Sherry Manley (Keith); four sisters, Sarah Reese, Shirley Clark (Freddy), Barbara Harris (Carroll), and Betty Morgan (Larry); and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, July 18, 2022 at 12:30 p.m. at Living Waters Tabernacle. No formal visitation will be held.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.
