My brother, you are home! I am sure Pops was waiting for you at the gate along with our sisters, Nancy Bernice and Brenda Kay and our brother. We never met them because they went home too soon.. I am sure Granny smothered you with kisses and Paw a slap on the back! I can only imagine the joy you have experienced in seeing our family again. Aunt Jenny, uncle Lawrence, aunt Emmer, uncle Wayne, aunt Pauline, uncle Bob, aunt Nell aunt Mozell, aunt Ruby Jo and so many others! Most of all, you have bowed before the King of Kings our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! I can hardly wait to see you and all of our family again! I KNOW you will be waiting by the gate to welcome me home and we will sit down by the river and talk again! I Love you brother, you are home and as much as I miss you I would not ask you to come back for anything! I will see you at the gate real soon! Love Sis

Ruby, Robin, and Rickey I am so sorry for your loss. I am glad that I have the memories of us sitting around the house when mom and I came back to visit. We had fun just being together as a family. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I love you.

May God bless and comfort your family. It seems like only a short time ago that John (I called him Johnny back then) would be one of the regulars to play basketball in the old North Cove gym on Sunday afternoons. Our group had some really great times and he was a great guy. So sorry he has gone home so soon.
