Joey Eugene Rhymer, 66, of Nebo, passed away Monday, January 10, 2022 at his residence.
Joey was born February 19, 1955 in Marion, North Carolina to the late Norman Rhymer and Joan Ruby Young Rhymer. Joey worked as a rock mason for over twenty years. He enjoyed being outdoors, especially fishing and ginseng hunting. He was also an avid Carolina Tarheel fan. Joey was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of thirty-eight years, Kathy Rhymer; a son Shawn Rhymer (Missy); a daughter Kylie Hilton; two brothers, Danny Rhymer (Teresa), Keith Rhymer and three grandchildren.
In keeping with his wishes no services are planned.
