Joe H. Johnson, 84, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away Friday, July 16, 2021 at his residence.
A native of McDowell County, he was born June 14, 1937 to the late T.R. and Allie Effler Johnson.
Mr. Johnson retired as an engineer from Baxter. He served 10 years in the United States Air Force. A very active man, he always had a project going on. He was a very family-oriented man who enjoyed taking road trips out west.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Johnson, and his daughter, Holly Johnson.
In accordance with his wishes, no services will be held.
