Jesse Lee Elliott

     Jesse Lee Elliott, 77, of Marion, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at his residence.

     Jesse was born in McDowell County, NC, on May 20, 1946, to the late Gordon Elliott and Rosalee Stroud Elliott. Jesse was the youngest of nine children. He was a unique renaissance man who lived on his own terms. He was a firearms enthusiast who loved music, classic cars & trucks, and was a collector of antiques. He will always be loved and remembered by his family and friends.

     In addition to his parents, Jesse was preceded in death by a son, Simon Bradley Elliott; and five sisters, Charlotte Shuler, Nina Daughtery, Janet Williams, Sue Rose, and Martha Rose.

     Those left to cherish his memory include a daughter, Jessica “Niki” Elliott Stevens-Ahern (Brendan); three brothers, Gordon Bud Elliott, Paul Elliott (Barbara), and Sherill Elliott (Nellie); a daughter in law, Heather McKinney; three grandchildren, Devin Stevens, Robert Elliott Stevens, and Vincent Elliott; and many nieces, nephews, and special friends.

     A gathering of friends will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Sunday, December 10, 2023, at Beam Funeral Service.
