Jerry Randall

Jerry Randall, age 73, of Old Fort, North Carolina, departed to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 08, 2020 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills SECU Inpatient Unit in Forest City.  The son of the late Edward and Lula Sprinkle Randall, he was born in Madison County, North Carolina on August 13, 1947.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ireland and James Randall. 

Jerry was employed with the North Carolina Department of Public Safety for 14 years where he served as a correctional officer.  A member of Lackey Town Missionary Baptist Church in Old Fort, Jerry loved his church family, but his loving family meant the world to him.  He enjoyed traveling with them and taking fishing trips with his grandsons. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Alice Randall of the home; four children, Hank Randall (Debbie) of Wimberley, Texas, Angie Forrest (Lynn) of Brazoria, Texas, Andrea “Tiny” Dellapiane (Juan) of Dallas, Texas and Nikki Randall of Dripping Springs, Texas; two sisters, Geneva Cable (Everett) and Ruth Miller, both of Marion; and two brothers, Everett Randall (Judy) of Marion and Bobby Randall (Hilda) of Old Fort.  Jerry is also survived by his nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service with Pastor Jeffery Parker and Pastor Gerald Sprinkle officiating.  Interment will follow at McDowell Memorial Park.  Honors will be provided by the North Carolina Department of Public Safety-Adult Corrections.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home.
