Jerome Edmund Morris

Jerome Edmund Morris, 82, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at the Charles George VA Medical Center.

He was born in Dean, West Virginia on February 03, 1939 to the late Berl Morris and Lena Ellen Livingston Morris.

Jerome was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked at Hercules in Ohio for 38 years as a machinist where they made Jeep motors for the Army. A loving father, brother, and grandfather, Jerome enjoyed gardening as well as watching and feeding birds.

He is survived by three children, John Morris (Amada), Jeannie Blackwell, and Judy Chissell (Michael); five grandchildren; one great grandchild; and six siblings, Jim Morris, Archie Morris, Betty Jordan, Cindy Jett, Shirley Hamilton, and Carol Crawford.

Jerome will be inurned at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
