Jeffrey Neil Davis, a beloved member of his family and community, peacefully went to be with the Lord on May 9, 2025, at CarePartners Hospice Solace Center, leaving behind a legacy of love and service. Born on November 2, 1956, in McDowell County, Jeffrey lived a life dedicated to his family, faith, and community.

He was a loving husband to Peggy C. Davis, with whom he shared 50 wonderful years. Jeffrey was also a devoted father to his daughters, Libby Davis and her husband Kevin, Jennifer Mullins and her husband William, and son, Joshua Davis and his wife Courtney. His family continued to grow, and he took great joy in being a grandfather to Jeremy Davis and his wife Erin, Selina Fant and her husband Xavier, Luke Davis, Davis Mullins, and Margaret Mullins and great grandchildren Freya Davis and Laoghaire Davis. Additionally, he shared a special bond with his siblings, Everett Davis and his wife Cathy, and Shelia Davis-Estridge and her husband Phillip.

Throughout his life, Jeffrey was known for his warm personality and passion for the outdoors, enjoying hunting and fishing and taking memorable trips to Cades Cove, where he relished nature's beauty. He was deeply committed to his Lord and Savor and community, being a cherished member of the Stone Mountain Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon and a Sunday School Teacher. His contributions extended beyond the church; he was a founding member of the Crooked Creek Fire Department, where he wholeheartedly served in various roles, and was most recently the active president of the board of directors.

Jeffrey leaves behind a profound impact on the lives he touched, remembered by family and friends as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother. He is predeceased by his parents, Donald Ray Davis and Virginia Vess Davis; one sister Delaine Davis.

Visitation will be held on May 13, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Beam Celebration Center in Marion, North Carolina, followed by the funeral service on May 14, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Stone Mountain Missionary Baptist Church in Black Mountain, North Carolina, with the Reverends Timothy Bright, Buster King and David Edwards officiating. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Crooked Creek Fire Department PO Box 1927 Old Fort, NC 28762.

Jeffrey Neil Davis will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his kindness, dedication, and love for his family and community.
