Janice was employed in the office of several Marion manufacturing companies. She ended her work career retiring from Broughton Hospital. She took great pride in her work and was often praised by her employers.
Janice was an avid reader. She found great joy in being able to sit in her sunny yard while reading a good book. She also enjoyed listening to music. Her favorite artists were John Denver, Dolly Parton and Elvis. She had a talent for sewing. She was known as the family seamstress. Extended family members would frequently bring their pants to her to be hemmed. She was also known as a good cook. She loved to eat chocolate and always enjoyed a cold Pepsi.

She attended many gatherings and special occasions with them over the years. She is survived by her three children, Lisa Clontz (David), Michelle Stevenson, Greg Stevenson (Melissa); her grandchildren, Sierra Harchanko (Neil), Dewey Stevenson, Alex Clontz (Sawyer) and Samantha Clontz; a great granddaughter, Avery; her sister, Jeanette (Bill) and a sister inlaw, Marlene Rumfelt; numerous nieces and nephews that were very special to her; and a devoted canine, DJ, who misses her companionship terribly.
