James Aaron McIntosh

James Aaron McIntosh, 43, of Marion, passed away, unexpectedly, on Monday, May12, 2025.

James was born in Rutherford County, NC, on March 20, 1982, to Elmer Lee McIntosh and the late Marilyn Louise Perkins McIntosh. He attended Catawba Heights Baptist Church and was always known to help others in need. James enjoyed watching college sports and was very athletic in his youth. He loved listening to music and was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish. Most of all, James loved spending time with his daughter, who was the light of his life. He will be greatly missed.

In addition to his mother, James was preceded in death by a niece, Lauren Wyatt.

Those left to cherish his memory include a daughter, Skylar McIntosh (Braxton); two sisters, Amanda Wyatt (Donnie) and Marsha Burnette (Jonathan); a brother, Eric McIntosh (Tonya); two nieces, Natalie and Olivia Burnette; and several aunts and uncles.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.
