James Donald Ledbetter Sr.

James Donald Ledbetter, Sr., age 84, of the Glenwood Community, passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Pyatt Ledbetter; his parents, Homer and Mammie Sue Ledbetter and a host of brothers and sisters.

Left to cherish his memory are his two sons, James Donald Ledbetter Jr., of the home and William Eugene Ledbetter (Wanda), of Jonas Ridge; a granddaughter, Stephanie Ledbetter Mills (Chris), of Glenwood; two step grandsons, Jonathan Clark (Tami), of Beech Mtn., Jeremy Clark, of Jonas Ridge; one great granddaughter, Taylor Ledbetter, of Glenwood; four step great granddaughters, Hailey and Maci Clark, of Beech Mtn. and Savannah and Serenity Mills, of Glenwood.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 26, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at McDowell Memorial Park, with Jonathan Watson officiating.
