James Brooks Dietz

James “Jim” Brooks Dietz, 63, of Miami, Florida passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2022.

Jim was born on July, 22, 1959 to the late James Eugene Dietz and Martha Elaine Vickory.

He enjoyed nature especially fishing, camping and making art. Jim lived in the Marion area for 22 years prior to moving to Miami for the past 8 years. He will be missed by his family and friends.

Jim is preceded in death along with his parents by brothers, Kevin Boyd and Jeffery Mark Davis and also his sister Kim Jenkins.

He is survived by his step father, John Jenkins; three children, Chandra Buchanan (Jason), Katherine Mace (Craig) and Jamie Dietz; two sisters, Jackie Jenkins and Mei-Ling Jamison; five brothers, Mike Dietz, Shawn Dietz, John Pivonka, Tony Jenkins and Eric Davis; eight grandchildren, one great grandchild and another on the way.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, November 25, 2022 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Beam Funeral Service & Crematory.
