James Dennis Dees, 81, of Marion, passed away at Autumn Care of Marion, on Friday, December 20, 2024.
James was born in Johnson City, Tennessee to the late Elmer M. Dees and Melda Lennie Slagle Greene. He is also preceded in death by a son, James Dees II and a sister, Donna Dees.
He retired from Parker Hosiery as the plant manager. James loved spending time outdoors and a lot of that time he spent on the lake fishing. He also loved beach trips with Shorty and Peanut.
James is survived by his children, Shelly Mastin (Tom) and Stacy Walden (Sean); two sisters, Patricia Wood and Debra Dees, and 5 grandchildren.
