Jacob William Bowman

Jacob William Bowman, 51, of Nebo, North Carolina, passed away Monday evening, September 06, 2021 at Mission Hospital McDowell.

He was born in McDowell County on July 24, 1970 to Vonda Bowman Lowery.

Jacob, who never met a stranger, enjoyed laughing and cutting up with his friends and family. He loved fishing, hunting, woodworking, and tending to his bees. He was always willing to help anyone in need. Jacob was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church where he loved attending every time the doors were open.

He is preceded in death by his stepfather, John Lowery.

In addition to his mother, Vonda Lowery, he is survived by his wife, Amy Perdieu Bowman; and three children, Erica Bradley, Justin Bowman (Krista Taylor), and Amanda Bowman.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at First Free Will Baptist Church at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Brian Bird officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m., one hour prior to the service.
