Jackie Hensley, age 66, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at the Charles George VA Medical Center in Asheville. The son of the late Ray and Margarite Reynolds Hensley, he was born in McDowell County, North Carolina on August 11, 1952.
Jackie loved not only serving in the United States Army, but he truly loved serving the Lord.
He is survived by two sons, Jacob Ryan Hensley and Joshua Chad Hensley; one brother, James Ray Hensley; one sister, Cheryl Hensley; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Mr. Hensley’s wishes, a private service will be held at a later date.
