Because of Jack I have so many great memories. As my uncle he taught me how to do so many things. He taught me how to swim, water ski, bowl, etc. The future will be different without Jack but he is free from all sickness now.

Jack was the very best brother a sister could ever have. He always shared the joy of his life with his family and friends never holding back. Jack had a true kind heart and was the sweetest man I ever knew. He loved his family and they loved him back. I will miss my brother but I know he is in heaven now unchained from the burden of Alzheimer's.

I will never forget all the adventures in my life as a kid with my uncle Jack and the family. Because of Jack, I have been to places in the mountains and had experiences that I would never have had otherwise. A few memories...riding around on a truck on the Bald mountain, eating sweet cold watermelons chilled by mountain streams, learning about rocks and the secret gems they could hold, picnics at Linville and swimming in that cold icy mountain water. Let's celebrate the life of such a wonderful person God gave to us!

Jack was such a fun person to hang out with. We laughed together alot over a lot of things. He was my brother-in-law but he treated me like a sister. He always welcomed me in his home and always assured me that I was welcome to come back again. I will miss his kindness but I am so glad to know that Heaven is his home now.

Jack was our familys Indiana Jones. Wherever he was adventure followed. I can remember all of our fun times on Lakes James skiing and roasting hotdogs. Somewhere some catfish has a nice set of teeth thanks to uncle Jack. But he got up and rode that wake board just to prove he could at 60+ years. (I personally had no doubt.) From shooting guns on Thanksgiving day to riding the waves on Lake Jamess, we always had a blast. I only have fond memories of our many adventures together. I know you are having the adventure of a lifetime exploring heaven. Until we meet again...
