Jack Norville

     Jack Norville, 73, of Union Mills, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2023, at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills in Forest City.

     Jack was born in Rutherford County, NC on July 10, 1950, to the late Bill and Eva Norville. He was married to the late Donna Norville. Jack was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church in Rutherfordton. He was a 51-year Mason and was a member of Hollis Lodge No. 535 A.F.&A.M. in Bostic, NC. He was active with the York Rite, Scottish Rite, and Shriners. Jack was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed deer hunting and fishing. He loved his Church family and was known to always give candy to the children of the Church. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

     In addition to his wife and parents, Jack was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Norville.

     Those left to cherish his memory include a son, Billy Norville; a daughter, Crystal Norville (Rick Johnson); three brothers, Gene Norville (Ann), Norris Norville (Betty), and Orville Norville (Lou); and seven grandchildren.

     A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at Pisgah United Methodist Church Cemetery in Rutherfordton. Rev. Scott Moneyham will officiate and Rev. Donald Morrison will assist. Graveside Masonic Rites will be rendered by the brethren of Hollis Lodge No. 535.
