Hicks Neal Moore, 82, of Rutherfordton, passed away Friday, July 21, 2023 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.
A native of McDowell County, he was born October 6, 1940 to the late Ransom Moore and Elsie Williams Moore. He is also preceded in death by four siblings, Joyce Bailey, Earl Moore, Donald Moore, and Dennis Moore.
He is survived by two sisters, Ann Roland and Elizabeth Hunley; and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 from 2:00 until 2:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service. A memorial service will follow at 2:30 p.m.
