Henry David Layfield

Henry David Layfield, age 87, passed away on Sunday, May 09, 2021. He was born on December 17, 1933, to the late Guy and Annie Williamson Layfield.

Henry retired from Drexel. He was a loving brother and a friend to everyone.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Layfield.

Left to cherish his memory are two sisters, Mildred Sumlin (Gene) & June Porter (Bob) and two brothers, Andrew Layfield & Raymond Layfield.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 13, 2021, at 3:00 p.m., at McDowell Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service.
