Scott Johnson

     Gregory Scott Johnson, 41, of Nebo, passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at his residence.

     Scott was born in McDowell County, NC, on October 27, 1981, to David Finley Johnson and the late Gail Susan Manning Johnson. Scott enjoyed working with computers, reading, cooking, and welding. He was a hard worker who always enjoyed helping his neighbors. Scott will always be remembered for his friendly kind heart.

     In addition to his mother, Scott was preceded in death by a sister, Tabatha Dawn Johnson.

     He is survived by his father, David Johnson (Robin); a daughter, Cynthia Aaliyah Johnson; a sister, Heather Renee Johnson; two brothers, Mark Morgan and Jeremy Morgan; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

     A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at Bethel Baptist Church. Rev. Jimmy Upton will officiate.

     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Scott’s daughter, Cynthia Johnson.
