Gloria Joan Kulig, 87, of Marion, NC, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Mission Memorial Hospital in Asheville.
Gloria was born on November 23, 1938, in Toronto, Canada, and was raised by the late Harry and Mary McAllister. Prior to moving to North Carolina, Gloria lived in Florida and Iowa. She loved to travel and spending time with her friends and family. She will always be loved and remembered.
In addition to her parents, Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Kulig.
Those left to cherish her memory include two sons, Alan J. Lyes (Allisyn) and Anthony B. Lyes; three grandchildren, Matthew A. Lyes, Ryan A. Lyes, and Amanda Lyes; and a great grandson, Ryder R. Lyes.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
