Glenna Kay Estes

Glenna Kay Booher Estes, age 66, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.

A native of McDowell County, she was born on July 07, 1954 to the late Glenn Booher and Sally Bowls Booher.

Glenna retired from Baxter Healthcare after 38 years of faithful service. She was an avid motorcycle rider. She will be remembered as a great mother and grandmother who will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Those left to cherish her precious memories are her husband, Roger Dale Estes; two children, Trent Estes and wife Krystan, and Ashley Estes; two grandchildren, Ethan Cash Estes and Eli Chase Estes; and two sisters, Pam McKinney and Joy Hutchins.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 02, 2021 at Beam Funeral Service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. A private funeral service with immediate family only will be held in Glenna’s honor. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. The family requests that all who attend the visitation wear a mask and exercise social distancing.
