Glenn Ollis

Glenn Ollis, 75, of Marion, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, his 75th birthday.

He was born in Rutherford County to the late Millard Ollis and Dorothy Elizabeth Kidd Ollis. Glenn was a proud veteran of the United States Army and was employed at Yokefellow in Spindale where he was a manager and later at Baxter Healthcare where he was a security guard.

Glenn was a true family man who will be remembered for his deep love and devotion for his wife, children, and grandchildren. He enjoyed making conversation with friends and family and making others laugh. He cherished time spent fishing, and he was a Christian. Glenn was loved by all and will be deeply missed.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his five siblings, and two grandchildren, Jamie Daryel Wishon and Dustin Scott Sisk.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Nell Cook Ollis; four children, Diane Metzinger, Dewayne Hawkins (Kristie), Candy Stiles (Jamie), and Renee Hudgins (Devon); nine grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren with two more on the way.

In accordance with his wishes, no services are planned at this time.
