Geraldine Young, born on October 19, 1941, passed away peacefully at her residence on October 7, 2025. A beloved matriarch, Geraldine is remembered fondly for her deep affection for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Throughout her life, Geraldine embraced her passions with enthusiasm. She had a profound love for sewing and crocheting, which she showcased through the beautiful creations she crafted for her loved ones. Her artistry was not only a hobby; it was a way she expressed her love and care, wrapping her family in warmth and comfort.
Geraldine possessed an energetic spirit and enjoyed various forms of entertainment. She was particularly fond of the music of Elvis Presley and the thrill of wrestling, interests that brought her joy and connected her with others who shared her passions.
Geraldine leaves behind her cherished family, including her daughter Juanita Young and son Michael Carson. She also is survived by her siblings Norma Beam, Horace Young, Sr., and Willie Young. The legacy of love that she nurtured extends to her grandchildren: Gregory Conley, Jr., Alan Conley, Sr., Ashley Young, Tyler Corpening, Michael Madison, and Monica Madison, along with ten great-grandchildren who carry forward her spirit.
Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents, Prelow Young and Juanita Elizabeth Means Young.
