Your father's smile and wit was legendary, Gigi! I was blessed to have known him and remember such good times hanging out at your parent's house in VA. Your mother and sister were there to welcome him to Heaven. God bless your family. Thinking of you and sending much love.

Gigi, I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of George. He was a great man and a great friend to Mike and I. He always made us feel like we were part of the family.
George always liked it when I would fix him liver and onions, his favorite.
He was always friendly to everyone.
I'm sure Pat and Lynn were glad to see him.
Heaven gained a wonderful man.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
Prayers for you and the family in the days ahead.
We Love you,
Mike & Patty Murphy

I was blessed to have George as my my brother-in-law for 33 years. He was always quick with a smile and some new facts he learned from the latest National Geographic magazine , and what a Redskins football fan! George had a sharp inquisitive mind, and was one of the best scrabble players around. He was a good friend to all of us in the family and loved and respected his mother-in-law Viola very much.(his scrabble playing buddy. ) George was a gentleman and treated people with kindness and respect. I always appreciated that . We are surely going to miss him, but looking forward to seeing him again in the presence of our Lord . Gigi, you have a dad to be truly proud of. You know how much he loved you, the rest of his family and his home. You helped your Dad finish his course of life at peace in the home he loved. Well done Gigi.

GiGi, we are sorry for your loss. We know the love inside the family circle.. Brian Sr., Brian Jr. .
( BK) & Jess George. Loved each of you with an everlasting 💘He also loved playing Scrabble with his Mother-in-law; Viola Davis Gilliam, as well as J.T. (jake) Gilliam, both of which have gone on to be with the Lord. Just about all of his in-laws challenged him at Scrabble. Knowing him since I was 12 yrs of age, he became my brother.. once I told him "George, you are my favorite brothers-in-law " He thought for a minute and through his million dollar smile replied " I am your only brother in law!" He would have been,no matter how many had.. Ed & II love him dearly.. GiGi and family,,please know that we are love you and we are here for you.. Know that God loves you too.all.
