George Kenneth Fowler

George Kenneth Fowler, age 76, of Spruce Pine, North Carolina passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Blue Ridge Regional Hospital. A native of Minneapolis, Minnesota, George was born on February 14, 1943 to the late Colin and Laice Rose Mary Fowler.

George was a master painter, a great homemaker and gardener. He was known to have a beautiful voice and will be greatly missed.

George is survived by three brothers, Colin Fowler (Coleen), Charles Fowler (Helen) and Donald Fowler; one sister, Jean Lanis; two sisters-in-law, Elaine and Diane (Ralph); numerous nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews; and many extended family members.

A private service to celebrate George’s life will be held at a later date.
