Gary Dale Hamby

Gary Dale Hamby, age 69, passed away peacefully at his residence on Saturday, August 29, 2026.

Born on September 8, 1956, he was the son of the late Theodore Hamby and Betty Smith Hamby. In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his brother, Rick Hamby.

Gary enjoyed music and found great joy in playing the guitar and singing. He loved spending time outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Travis Hamby (Jennifer); daughter, April Coffey (Shannon); three grandchildren, Ellie Hamby, Dylan Coffey, and Emma Coffey; sister, Sheila Johnson; and brother, Tim Hamby.

In keeping with the family's wishes, a service will be held at a later date.
