Frankie Jean Kiser

Frankie Jean Kiser, 84, of Marion, North Carolina passed away Friday, June 24, 2022 at Autumn Care of Marion.

A native of McDowell County, she was born on January 01, 1938 to the late Willard Day and Cleat Day both of Marion, North Carolina.

Frankie was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking Sunday meals after church for her family and also for their holiday gatherings. Frankie loved her family dearly and loved spending time with them. She was a very caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband of 62 years, John “Millard” Kiser, Jr; twin daughters, Darlene Finley (Harold Davis) and Jolene Phillips (Frank Phillips, Jr.); two granddaughters, Amy Phillips and Renita Finley; and a great-granddaughter, Sarah Pool, all of Marion, North Carolina.

Frankie is also survived by two sisters; Josephine Nespole (Michael Nespole) of San Jose, California and Martha Spencer (Richard Spencer) of Marion, North Carolina.

She also has a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great- nephews.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 11:00 am at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
