Frank "Skip" Maxson Hill, Jr.
Frank “Skip” Maxson Hill, Jr., 74, of Old Fort, North Carolina, passed away Friday, September 16, 2022 at CarePartners Hospice Solace Center.
He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on April 13, 1948 to the late Frank Maxson Hill, Sr. and Betie Purtell Hill. He is also preceded in death by a daughter, Christy Hill; and a brother, Jim Hill.
Skip was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served for 3 years during the Vietnam War. He worked in carpentry and construction for many years and was very talented and skilled at what he did. Skip was always willing to help friends and family, and he will be remembered for his honesty and great integrity. A true outdoorsman, he loved fishing, gardening, and woodworking.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Margaret Greene Hill; two siblings, Lane Sykes and Randy Hill; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In accordance with his wishes, no services are planned.
You were best man at my wedding and best friend most of my life. We'll have new adventures when we meet again.

I am so sorry to hear this news about skip. He is at peace now. I have always thought highly of him may God's love wrap him in his arms. And let the comfort of God be with Margaret.
