Franciene Stanley McKinney

Franciene Stanley McKinney, age 68, passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021 with her family by her side. She was born in Millinocket, Maine on December 3, 1952 to Evangeline York Thompson and the late Ronald Thompson.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Charles A. Stanley; her son, Charles “MD” Stanley and one brother, Ron Thompson.

Franciene was an active member at Praise Assembly of God. She was a loving, caring woman filled with grace and compassion. Her joys in life were her family, friends and her walk with God.

Along with her mother, she is survived by her husband, James “Jim” McKinney; her children, Joseph Sr. and Katy Stanley, Earl and Jessica Stanley, Ben and Christina Stanley; step-children, Tony and Amber McKinney, Brandi McKinney and Travis McKinney; siblings, Don Thompson, Mike Thompson and Betty Larson. Also surviving Franciene are her grandchildren, Lillian Stanley, Joseph Stanley, Jr., Katie Stanley, Julia Stanley, Lexis Stanley, Brandon Sibley and Autumn Sibley and one great-grandchild, Presley Howey.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. at the Praise Assembly of God in Glen Alpine with Reverends Kevin Crawford and Boyd Biggerstaff officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., one hour prior to the service at the church.
