Everett Hardin

Everett Hardin, 88, of Marion, passed away Friday, October 2, 2026 at Autumn Care of Marion.

He was born in Unicoi County, Tennessee on July 31, 1938 to the late Hobert Hardin and Pansy Pate Harin. He was also preceded in death by all nine of his siblings and their spouses.

Everett was a longtime member of Rocky Pass Free Will Baptist Church where he had served as a deacon since 1972. He enjoyed woodworking as well as fishing and hunting. A loving husband, father, and friend, he will be missed by all.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Rheubena Foster Hardin, and his daughter, Karen Hardin and her fiancé Ricky Waddell.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 4, 2026 from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. at Rocky Pass Free Will Baptist Church. A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Alan Sailors and Pastor Bobby Shehan will begin at 3:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
