A candle was lit in memory of Ethel Kanipe

Kanipe Family, I am very sorry for your loss. To me Ethel was a very special person and it is very hard to know she will not still be here. I cannot remember not knowing & loving Ethel, she was always good to me in helping me learn to be the best communicator I could, to always strive to get the most, best & needed info to help the officers to get their job done & come home safe. She kept me laughing, feeling welcome & even more needed & as a friend .whether at work, home or when we just ran in to each other. She was always very vocal about the way she thought or felt, one of the things I always loved about her. I will always remember all she taught me, our endless talks over the years & how good she was to me. I know she is probably sitting at a communicator desk now with her cup of coffee giving our directions & info. Thank you Ethel for being my Friend & being so good to my daughter when she went to work at Marion PD also. Sending good thoughts & love with so very many memories from before, during & after I worked in communications.
