Elaine Hoxit, age 72, of Marion, NC, formerly of Sylva, NC passed away Monday, October 15, 2018 at Mission Hospital McDowell.
Elaine was born June 3, 1946 in Jackson County, NC to the late Ulys Hoxit and Viola Shelton Hoxit Dillard. She had a beautiful spirit about her and always wanted to make someone smile. She loved animals and nature.
Those left behind to cherish her memories are two children, Edie Lytle and husband, Eric and Mark Jones and wife, Tammy; two grandchildren, Julian Lytle and Blake Jones; two siblings, Shelby Jackson and David Hoxit.
In keeping with Elaine’s wishes no services are planned at this time.
