Edsel "Billy" Henry Martin, Jr.

Edsel “Billy” Henry Martin III, 55, of Marion, passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2023.

Billy was born in McDowell County on October 1, 1967 to the late Edsel Henry Martin, Jr. and the late Betty Ann Revis Martin. He was also preceded in death by his step children, Elizabeth Hughes and Bynum Hughes.

He loved being outdoors and hunting ginseng and Indian artifacts. Billy also enjoyed his metal music and loved his family.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Sylvia Hipps, Shasta Martin and Alex Martin (Lisa); sister, Betteina Hollifield; brothers, Ethan Revis and Billy Joe Martin; four grandchildren, Aubree Martin, Cheyanne Martin, Greenlee Martin and Gage Martin; five step grandchildren and he is also survived by his Katie Belle.

A private Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
