Dorothy Jean Shipley Crain, age 50, of Marion, North Carolina passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Deer Park Health & Rehabilitation.
Dorothy was born July 22, 1967 in Buncombe County to the late Manley Eugene Shipley and Beatrice Rice Shipley. She was a wonderful mother and an avid reader.
Left behind to cherish Dorothy’s memories are two sons, Roy and Joshua Crain; one brother, Michael Shipley and wife, Joy; and three grandchildren, Aleena, Naveah and Ethan Crain.
In keeping with Dorothy's wishes no services will be held at this time.
