Donna Angela Bingham

Donna Angela Bingham, 59, of Old Fort, passed away Monday, August 3, 2026 at Mission Hospital in Asheville.

She was born in Cleveland County on August 8, 1966. Donna attended Grace Community Church. An avid sports fan, she faithfully followed the Los Angeles Dodgers, Dallas Cowboys, and the North Carolina Tarheels. She also enjoyed watching wrestling. Donna had a special place in her heart for her animals. She enjoyed the beauty of the beach and going on cruises with her family. Her sons and grandchildren meant the world to her.

She is survived by her sons, Cory Wilson and Jordan Lytle; her father, Eddie Bingham (Robin); her mother, Virginia Faye Ketterman; two grandchildren, Kahlen Wilson and Cameron Lytle; four brothers, Thomas Bingham (DeEtte), James Bingham (Tanya), Joshua Bingham (Sara), and Aaron Bingham (Emily); and a number of nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Donna’s life will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, her 60th birthday at Grace Community Church. A time to share food and fellowship will begin at 12:00 p.m. and a service will begin at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to be made to a GoFundMe account that is being set up for Donna’s grandchildren’s education. More information will be forthcoming.
