Donald "Donnie" Wesley Hicks

Donald Wesley ‘Donnie’ Hicks, age 75, of Marion passed away Thursday, April 2, 2026 at Autumn Care of Marion.

Born on February 23, 1951 in Aberdeen Washington, he was the son of the late Acil Lee Hicks and Daisey Hamm Hildebrand. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Danny Royle Hicks.

Donnie was retired from Haldex (Midland Brake). He was known as a person that had a great work ethic and rarely missed any work time. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a Harley-Davidson motorcycle enthusiast and he enjoyed listening to music and hanging out on his front porch.

Left to cherish his memories is his children; Gene Hicks, Kathy Hicks and Matthew Hicks, his sisters; Sharon Buchanan and Lu Ann Ruppe, and his grandson; Aidan Hicks, several nieces and nephews.

The funeral for Donnie Hicks will Monday, April 6, 2026 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Home with the Pastor Steve Durham officiating. The family will receive friends Monday, April 6, 2026 from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
