Don Jeffrey Clayton
Don Jeffrey Clayton, 59, of Asheville, North Carolina, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, December 15, 2022.
He was born in Morganton on February 18, 1963 to Betty Skeens Clayton and the late Donald Frank Clayton.
Don was a restaurant manager at Cracker Barrel where he was well loved. He was a very generous man who loved his family, especially his wife. They saved each other and brought happiness in each other’s lives. He was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and enjoyed watching football and golfing. Don was an avid collector of coins and old books.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Sedeana Laughter Clayton; two siblings, John Clayton (Chryssa) and Karen Sparks (Tony); his beloved nieces and nephews, Krystina Arrowood, Shane Delahoz, Greg Clayton, Ashley Clayton-Penland, and Joe Clayton; and special grandchildren, Lexie Wester and Brandon Wester.
The family will hold a celebration of Don’s life at a later date.
