Dicky H. Harris

     Dicky H. Harris, 89, of Marion, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at Mission McDowell Hospital.

     Dicky was born in Yancey County, NC, on March 27, 1934, to the late James G. Harris and Nellie Jane Carroll Harris. He was married to his wife of 63 years, Patrica “Patsy” Lucille Inman Harris. Dicky was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and loved being in the woods.

     In addition to his parents, Dicky was preceded in death by two sisters, Juanita and Dorothy; and three brothers, Robert, Charles, and Kenneth.

     Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Patsy Harris; a son, Donald Harris; three daughters, Carolyn Honeycutt, Linda Buckner, and Wendy Suggs; a grandson, Grayson Collingwood; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

     A memorial service will be held at a later date.
