Debra Hoover Teaster

     Debra Darlene Hoover Teaster, 62, of Morganton, passed away Monday, December 19, 2022, at UNC Health Blue Ridge in Morganton.

     Debra was born in Charlotte, NC on February 1, 1960, to the late Raymond Edward Hoover and Mary Louise Rhodes Hoover. Debra was an animal lover. Her dog, Z, was the light of her world. She was a loving and compassionate person who would always help anyone in need. She will be greatly missed.

     In addition to her parents, Debra was preceded in death by a husband, Terry Teaster; a son, Dustin Harr; and two brothers, Gene and Terry Hoover.

     Survivors include her husband, Mark White; her children, Jason Teaster (Jennifer), Amanda Dubose (Robbie), and Crystal Page (Matt); a sister, Vicki Umsted (Jim); a brother, Bill Hoover; and her grandchildren, Alex & Lexie McCarthy, Phoenix & Jaxson Dubose, Hayden Teaster, and CJ Caston.

     A memorial service will be held at a later date.
