Debra Ann Robinson

Debra Ann Robinson, of McDowell County, passed away at her residence on September 29, 2026, at the age of 68. Born on May 30, 1958, in McDowell County, she lived a life marked by faith, devotion, and deep love for those around her.

Mrs. Robinson was a devoted Christian whose life reflected the values she held close. She attended Yancey Street Baptist Church, where she also taught Sunday School and found great joy in serving alongside her church family. Her faith was a steady and guiding presence throughout her life, and she loved both her church and the many relationships she built there.

She gave 45 years of dedicated service to Baxter Healthcare, a remarkable testament to her commitment and work ethic. Beyond her work, Debra loved to travel and treasured the experiences and memories that came with it. Above all, she loved her family and the time she shared with them.

A special part of her life was her marriage to her husband, Tommy Robinson. They were married twice, and she described their second marriage as a blessing from God, a reflection of the gratitude and faith with which she viewed her life.

She is survived by her husband, Tommy Robinson; her two sisters, Susan Monroe and Sandy Miller; and her friend, Marie Hughes. Each of them held a cherished place in her heart, and her love for her family and friends will remain a lasting part of her memory.

She was preceded in death by her father, Rodger Patterson, and her mother, Gladys Sumlin Patterson.

Debra Ann Robinson will be remembered for her steadfast faith, her loving heart, her dedication to her work, and the care she gave to her family, friends, and church community. Her memory will continue to live on in the lives of all who knew and loved her.
