Debra Peters

Debra Grindstaff Peters, age 69, formerly of Pistol Road in Dallas, NC passed away Sunday, June 21, 2026 at Deer Park Health & Rehab in Marion, NC.

Born on January 2, 1957 in Mecklenburg County, NC, she was the daughter of the late John and Myrtle Edwards Grindstaff. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Misty Dawn Featherstone; a grandson, Jessy Herron; and her sisters; Marilyn Eubanks and Joann Musgrave.

Debra was a member of the Fancy Hill Baptist Church in Dallas, NC. She loved spending time with her family and loved her family more than anything else in the world. She enjoyed traveling and particularly enjoyed trips to the beach. Of all the places that she traveled to, going on trips to Florida were her favorite. She also enjoyed fishing, music and doing all kinds of arts and crafts.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband; Charles ‘Ronnie’ Peters, her daughters; Tina Hicks and husband, Chris, Theresa and Johnny Stevens, and Cindy Hinson and fiancé’, David Graham, her brothers; David Grindstaff and Johnny Grindstaff, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and her special nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be planned by the family and announced at a later date.
