Davonté Cavario Conley, 32, of Marion, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 18, 2024.
He was born in Marion on November 18, 1991. Davonté had a strong work ethic, and he always took pride in his job. He spent his life working in construction. He was currently employed with GEM Constructors, and he worked for IEM Contractors for nine years prior to that. Davonté will be remembered for his bright smile that would light up a room. He would always stand ready to help anyone in need, and he never met a stranger. More than anything else, he loved his family. His sons meant the world to him.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Governor Conley and Mary Jane Carson; maternal grandmother, Zora Mayfield; cousin, Malcolm Mayfield; and two aunts, Chrystal Williams and Dianna Mayfield.
He is survived by his father, Tony Gene Conley; mother, Alisa Annette Mayfield Coady; sons, Danté Conley and Rigale Conley; step-father, Scott Coady; aunts and uncles, Ocie Mayfield, Claude Mayfield, Lisa Carson, Charlet Carson, and Mary Wells, Tyron Jackson, and Julian Radziszewski; and cousins, Brianna Mayfield, Chandler Mayfield, Kolton Crowder, Orondé Carson, Dré Conley, Iesha Carson, Jaiden Carson, Jaiveon Owenby, Jarvis Conley, Kesha Conley, and CJ Williams. He is also survived by numerous friends including, Brian Twitty, Chris Gomez, Dama Martin, Ray Ray Forney, Jordan Brown, Derek Roberts, Brett Greer, Johnny Brown and Duke Hill; as well as, numerous other friends and extended family.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 26, 2024 from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. in the Beam Celebration Center. A memorial service will begin at 3:00 p.m. with Reverend Jeff Conley officiating.
