Danny Shane Davis

Mr. Danny Shane Davis, age 56, of Marion, passed away, Friday August 7, 2026. He was born in McDowell county on August 25, 1969 and was the son of Charles and Mary Smith Davis. Danny was preceded in death by his sister Rebecca Davis.

Danny loved the outdoors, when he was able he loved hunting and fishing. His hobbies also included writing poetry. He will be missed by all that knew him.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his sons, Luke and Mason Davis; his brother Mark Davis (Michael); niece Jessica George and her children Jeremiah and Natalie George; and nephew Zachary Mills.

A family and friends memorial service will be held at a later date with Rev. Larry Gentry officiating.
