Danny James Thornton

Danny James Thornton, age 59, of Marion passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021.

Danny was born in Greenville County, South Carolina; on October 08, 1962 to the late Bobby and Jean Robertson Thornton. Danny was a forklift operator in Marion. He was an avid fisherman, who loved his family and making others laugh. He will be remembered for his wit and humor and his willingness to help others.

In addition to his parents, Danny is preceded in death by a sister, Lynn Thornton; a brother, Tony Thornton; a grandson, Eden Frisque and a son in law, Joey Wall.

Those left to cherish his memory is his wife, Betty Radford Thornton; two sons, Terry Green (Mary) of Liberty, South Carolina, Devin Frisque of Madison, Indiana; a daughter, Ashley Wall of Madison, Indiana; a sister, Debbie Jennings of Greenville, South Carolina; two brothers, Jimmy Thornton and Shane Thornton of Greenville, South Carolina; nine grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will hold a memorial at a later date.
