Danny Davis

Danny Davis, age 57, of Knightdale, North Carolina and formerly of Old Fort, passed away at his residence in Knightdale on Friday, September 20, 2019.  A native of McDowell County, North Carolina, born on July 07, 1962, he was the son of C.L. Davis of Morganton, North Carolina and Ruby Piercy of Old Fort, North Carolina.

Danny, who was a true fan of Carolina Tar Heels and Atlanta Braves, enjoyed watching sports.  A man who loved life and never met a stranger, was known as a talented musician who could play almost any instrument, especially when it came to a set of drums.  Danny was of the Methodist faith.

Left to cherish his memories are his father, C.L. Davis and wife, Judy of Morganton; mother, Ruby Piercy of Old Fort; one sister, Trena Nanney of Old Fort; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins; and several friends.
