Daniel Lewis Steinman

Daniel Lewis Steinman passed away on October 16, 2026, at Atrium Health of Charlotte. He was born on August 29, 1967, in Tampa, Florida.

Daniel will be remembered as an outdoorsman who found joy in the simple and meaningful pleasures of life. He loved fishing, hunting, and gardening, and he had a special affection for animals. He also enjoyed going to concerts and was a devoted fan of the San Antonio Spurs and the Dallas Cowboys. A U.S. Army veteran, Daniel carried that part of his life with honor. Above all, he loved his family, especially his daughters, who held a special place in his heart.

Preceding Danial in death are his parents, Walter Jay Steinman and Charlene Steinman; two brothers Larry Lonas and Jerry Lonas.

He is survived by his wife of thirty-six years, Yvonne Steinman; his daughters, Sandy Kassam (Justin) and Sarah Steinman (Seth); his sister, Patty Steinman; and his brother, Cliff Lonas. The love he shared with his family will remain a lasting part of his memory, and those who knew him will remember the care and devotion he gave to the people closest to him.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation on Monday, October 26, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Beam Funeral Service & Crematory, 2170 Rutherford Rd, Marion, NC 28752. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Beam Funeral Service & Crematory.

Daniel will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
