Cuba Ann Ford

Cuba Ann Ford, 76, of Marion, passed away at Mission Hospital in Asheville on Friday, March 1, 2024.

Cuba was born on September 17, 1947 in Batesville, MS to Paul Andrew Ford and Thelma Vess Ford who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by two brothers, David Ford and William Ford.

She was a member of Fernwood Baptist Church in Spartanburg, SC. Cuba was very involved in the McDowell County Democratic Party. She was the owner/operator of the Flea Market News and in her spare time she loved doing crafts. 

Left to cherish her memories are her siblings, Daniel E. Ford of California and Wendy F. Case (Don) of South Carolina and her nieces and nephews, Buffy Ford, Anita Case, Demian Ford, Aaron Ford, Eva Knapp and Jed Ford. 

The family will hold a memorial service at Fernwood Baptist Church on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends following the service.
