Connie Louise Collins

Connie Louise Collins, age 58, of Old Fort, North Carolina passed away Friday, August 3, 2018 at Burke Hospice & Palliative Care in Valdese, NC.

Connie was born June 11, 1960 in Chicago, IL to the late Bob Oaks and Louise Melton Oaks.  She worked as a waitress for many years and then became the owner /operator of Four Oaks Fish Camp in Old Fort.

Those left behind to cherish her memories are her husband of 41 years, Roger Collins; five children, Shannon and Casey, Natosha and William, Ben, Tyler and Camron; four grandchildren, Collin, Roen, Roy Mason and Cadence; her mother, Floy Collins; and her little sister, Michelle Boles.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Monday, August 6, 2018 at Beam Funeral Service.  A funeral service to celebrate Connie’s life will follow at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Bro. Ken VanBuskirk officiating.  Burial will follow at Collins Family Cemetery.
